Abstract
The goal of the thesis is to find out how the transport packaging is perceived by the customers of internet shops on the Czech market. The perception of the packaging was examined from the point of view of packaging ecology and, also from the point of view of its handling. Data collection was conducted online. For the analysis of the obtained data, pivot tables were used, especially statistical analysis – Chi-square test and ANOVA. The research shows that the environmental factor is very important for respondents in packaging. In terms of packaging handling, it was found that most respondents preferred to return the goods back to the retailer in their original packaging. It has also been found that young people often watch unboxing videos, which may be important information for packaging manufacturers.
