Pokročilé možnosti USB handsetu v IP telefónii

Abstract

Bachelor thesis deals with testing USB headsets / handset on IP phones. Various IP phones and USB headsets / handsets are selected for this thesis, which are tested for compatibility and supported codecs. The aim of the work is to find a functional combination of a USB headset / handset with an IP phone that will best meet the set criteria. The main requirements for the functional combination of IP phone and USB headset / handset include call switching between the handset and USB peripherals, audio quality and supported codecs. Next, I investigate where audio encoding occurs during a call via USB headset / handset on IP phones. The output of the work is a large number of properties of individual devices and especially combinations that have been tested. This knowledge will further serve the National Office for Cyber and Information Security, which is interested in purchasing more IP phones and with this project they want to know which USB headsets / handsets work best with different IP phones.
