Abstract

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the static assessment of selected elements of a historic roof truss, accounting for additional loads from photovoltaic panels. The primary data source was a point cloud obtained through a 3D laser scan of the building, provided by the thesis supervisor. The data was processed using Autodesk ReCap and subsequently imported into Autodesk Revit 2026. Within this environment, sections were generated to serve as the basis for defining the geometry of the computational model in the numerical software SCIA Engineer 25.0. The final drawing documentation was produced in Autodesk AutoCAD 2023. The structural assessment of the elements was performed using automatic checks in SCIA Engineer 25.0, the accuracy of which was verified by manual calculations. The thesis also includes the necessary technical drawings of the roof truss.
