Abstract
A human being is an integral and significant part of our planet, that is why it is important to take care of and protect him. The certain level of protection offers so-called social protection that secures citizens and their families all over the word in various forms. For Czech citizens the social protection is provided by social security which is built up on three pillars in the Czech republic – Social Insurance, State Social Support and Social Care. The protection of the citizen is very important, but the protection of the family is even more important. The family is the basic building stone of each society without which any society would exist. The support of the families plays the significant role in the activity of every government and that is also the reason I have chosen this theme for my work, whereas I have specially directed on the financial support. In the Czech republic the finacial support to families with children is mainly realized by the tax measures and by second pillar of the social security - State Social Support. One of the aims of my work is the analysis both of this areas in period 2006 - 2010. The main aim is the analysis of the dependence between state budget deficit and expenditures on the benefits of system State Social Support, which I have chosen like representative of public expenditures to families with children.By the statistical testing of the dependence between state budget deficit and expenditures on the benefits of system State Social Support I have found that expenditures on the benefits of system State Social Support aren´t influencing of state budget deficit.
