Abstract
The aim of the thesis is two-fold. The first, theoretical part discusses the structure of advanced control system, individual structures, and communication interface among different structures. The systems SCADA/HMI will be discussed in detail with a greater focus on a program InTouch. The second, practical part aims to design and create a visual and diagnostic instrument for heat treatment line of steel bars in Třinecké železárny, a.s. by using the afore-mentioned program InTouch.
