Abstract

Bachelor thesis describes the geology of the area, it locates quarries for building stone that was used to build the town Louny. It informs about natural conditions and historical development of the town from the construction point of view. The work is focused on the historic buildings of the town Louny, which are divided into defensive buildings, religious buildings, engineering construction and civil construction. The work also points to the rebuilding of the suburbs and the overall condition of historic buildings. It focuses on building interesting for tourism. Bachelor thesis is also supplemented by historical postcards and photos compared with photos from 2015
