Abstract
The aim of the thesis is using the characteristics of tourism and economic crisis in 2007 - 2009 and evaluate, how much this crisis affected tourism and specifically Leos Janacek airport in Ostrava. Work is divided to 5 chapters. The theoretical part is focused on describtion of tourism and economic crisis, which was in 2007 – 2009. In practical part of this thesis is described airport of Leos Janacek, evaluation of trafic in years from 2007 until 2012 and complete evaluation of the crisis which influenced the airport.
