Abstract

Production of reinforcing steel today is ussualy based on the state-of- the-art technology of control cooling. Principle of the method is in very fast and short cooling of C-Mn steel. Technology of cooling from finishing temperature allows to increase of rolling speed, performance of mill and currently increasing of strenght properties and toughness of low carbon steel. Slit Rolling technology allowes increasing of performance of mill and degreasing of production cost. Testing of reinforcing steel bars is going on with the new standard EN 10080. At the same time be in progress development of next, new grades
