Dopravní infrastruktura jako faktor regionálního rozvoje v Moravskoslezském kraji

Abstract

This thesis is about transport infrastructure, which is one of the factors in the development in Moravia-Silesia Region. It analyzes the level of transport networks in the region, especially the main road by road, rail, air, inland waterways, cycling and combined transport. This characteristic of the transport infrastructure allows to refer the biggest weaknesses, where are suggested solutions. The first chapter is devoted to the European transport policy and other aspects of transport, which are influenced by the increasing road traffic. The second chapter characterizes the transport infrastructure in the Region with a focus on the main road of all types of transport. The third chapter is a summary of the biggest weaknesses of transport networks, which is reflected in proposed solutions that will be enable further development of the region.
