Detekce oblaků z multispektrálních dat v zimním období

Abstract

The goal of this diploma thesis is to try and apply methods for snow and cloud detection with usage of remote sensing techniques and multispectral imagery. Firstly, there is a chapter about the term remote sensing and about physical and spectral properties of snow and clouds. Next part contains description of digital imagery processing and satellite systems with emphasis on Sentinel 2 mission. Next part is a description of methods for snow and cloud detection and their current state. After summary of used tools there is a chapter about choice of the area of interest and acquisition of suitable data. The last part of thesis is creation and validation of masks of clouds and snow.
