Abstract
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the optimization of materials and technologies in the development of medical devices. The main emphasis is placed on comparing additive manufacturing (3D printing using the FDM method) with the traditional method of plastic injection molding. The primary goal is to verify whether 3D printing can be used as an alternative manufacturing method to achieve comparable mechanical properties of the final product. Production speed and design flexibility are prioritized. The work utilizes experimental testing of various materials and their comparison with the parameters of injection-molded parts.
