Abstract
The goal of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the financial performance of the company ArcelorMittal Frýdek-Místek a.s. The theoretical part contains characterization of traditional methods of evaluation of financial performance (analysis of proportioned, absolute and differential indicators, systems of indicators) and modern methods of evaluation of financial performance (Economic Value Added – EVA). The practical part is oriented at total evaluation of financial performance of the company ArcelorMittal Frýdek-Místek a.s. In the last part, there is brought out appreciation of the results of analysis and recommendations for company. ArcelorMittal a.s. is financially-economically strong and healthy company.
