This diploma thesis focuses on geodetic works realized before, during and after the construction of the Nivy Tower, a high-rise building in Bratislava. The subject of interest was to point out the diversity of geodetic works after implementation of the construction work from project preparation to the approval of the Nivy Tower construction work. This document is divided into seven main sections. The first five sections deal with a theoretical discussion of geodetic works in capital construction, from the preparatory work for the project, to the preparation of a geometric plan for building approval. The next sixth and seventh section is devoted to the practical implementation of the construction and divided into units according to the type of work performed as the preparation of documents for the project, implementation of the construction demarcation network, construction demarcation, measurement and documentation of the actual state of the construction. The last section consist of focus and evaluation of the geometric plan for building approval.
