Abstract
The bachelor thesis evaluates cooling effect of the compressed air foam for cooling the hot surfaces. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the theory. Here describe extinguishing media used in my experiment, describe the methods of producing compressed air foam, focus on steel constructions and describe why these constructions have to be protected from the effects of fire. The second part is devoted to the experiment, which compared the cooling effect of the individual extinguishing media. This part is divided into three chapters, the first chapter describes an experiment. Chapter two describes individual measurements. Third chapter evaluation of these measurements.
