Možnosti sportovního vyžití obyvatel Karvinska

Abstract

Main goal of the thesis is to analyze and compare possibilities of sports activities in a several towns of Karvina region, namely Havířov, Bohumín and Karviná. The goal was fulfilled with the help of following methods: comparison, SWOT analysis, interview of town representatives and questionnaire. Based on collected information, few areas of possible improvement of the quality and quantity of the sports activities have been found. Although all of above mentioned towns provide to their citizens wide scale of sports, we have to conclude that each of them has deficiency in some area. These deficiencies are mostly caused by absence of good-quality sports premises, tracks for in-line skaters and facilities for specific sports, e.g. climbing. First part of the thesis focuses on the theoretical background, which is subsequently applied in the practical part, that states about particular problems of three above mentioned towns in the area of sport.
