Abstract
The theoretical part of the thesis deals with explosive transformation, the principle of explosive welding and mechanisms of joint. It is shown on the parameters and conditions of bonding and their influence on the welding process and properties of welded joints. An integral part of the thesis is a procedure of welding and its applications in engineering practice with taking into account all the advantages and disadvantages of the welding process. The experimental part focuses on the analysis of the microstructure of material welded by explosion Ti + 304 SS and its evaluation of resistance to hydrogen induced cracking by hydrogen sulfide in an acidic environment. Furthermore, it is shown on the fatigue testing of this material and microfractographic study of the fracture surface of the weld.
