Abstract

The theme of the thesis is Inventory Management in the Enterprise. The aim is to analyze inventory management in a manufacturing company with a focus on setting safety stocks. The amount of safety stock of each material is calculated by statistical methods for calculating safety stock using the normal distribution. In the theoretical part of the thesis there is the notion of logistics and inventory management with a focus on costs and methods of calculating safety stock.
