Abstract
This diploma thesis is focused on the development and dissemination of tools for displaying active and passive activations of a cerebral cortex for a subsequent evaluation. The goal is to propose a method that will assist the user for advanced detection of activated areas of interest. Active or passive activations, according to the chosen paradigm, are created in MATLAB Toolbox SPM8. Proposed module in the system FOTOMNG enables the user the initial image editing with a subsequent localization of areas. The attention is focused on converting an image to grayscale, median filtering and active contours method, whether it is geometric or parametric. Within the work a modul for an automatic detection of activated areas, realized with a segmentation to detect activated areas was created. With these modified and localized areas a mesurement to evaluace these areas can be performed or a 2D or a 3D modelling can be created. These methods will be implemented as a modules writte in java for the fotometric system FOTOMNG , which is created in NetBeans IDE. At the end of the work a statistical evaluation of implemented methods will be presented.
