Abstract
The topic of the diploma thesis is sensory analysis of the fruit drink Antioxík from the company KALMA, K.S. This drink was introduced to the market in September 2016, and its benefits are antioxidant effects. The aim of the thesis is to find out the strengths and weaknesses of the sensory attributes of the product, such as the appearance, smell, taste and consistency. The aim was also to determine how respondents evaluate packaging and product name. Data were collected through group discussions and record sheets. Focus group were participated by 80 respondents in total. Selected statistical methods such as Chi-square test, T-test, ANOVA and correlation analysis were used for the data analysis. The main result of the thesis is that the product Antioxík is tasty, but unimpressed. Respondents would therefore prefer their favourite drink before a test drink. Depending on the results of the research were designed recommendations to improve sensory characteristics of the drink.
