Revize neplatných oxidických minerálů manganu na území České republiky

Abstract

This thesis deals with the revision of invalid names of manganese oxides occurring in the territory of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is dedicated to the classificatin, occurrence and utilization of manganese oxides. The practical part deals with research on individual samples. It is focused mainly on systematic classification into groups according to laboratory research and subsequent evaluation of the results. The goal is to check the oxidic manganese minerals from several localities in the Czech Republic, use available research equipment, verify the possibility of mineral phase determination, and comparison with the original minerals.
