Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to approach the development of the European Union, from initial ideas, situations before the Second World War, to establish and later development of the European Union itself. The next chapter will try to explain the actual process of withdrawal of a Member state of the European Union, the institutions involved in the process, and the Member states, as well as examples withdrawal states. The last chapter analyzes the impact of withdrawal of a Member state of the European Union. Example is the Czech Republic, and analyze the impact of financial resources from structural funds for which could come.
