Abstract

The thesis deals with safety issues related to night hunting of game, with a particular focus on the use of night vision devices. The theoretical part describes the specifics of night hunting, analyses the associated safety risks, provides an overview of the firearms and night vision technology used, and examines the applicable legal framework. The practical part includes an analysis of selected incidents, a comparison of conventional optical devices with night vision and related devices, and a proposal of safety measures aimed at increasing the safety of night hunting.
