Abstract

The mining industry business has a number of specific features that do not occur in other industries. It is investment-intensive, it must be based on natural conditions determining the quantity and quality of the mineral, it is limited in time, it depends on the amount of the reserves, the intensity of mining. There is little possibility of changing the product range, in addition to the positive benefits for the state's economy, it has a number of negative factors. The presented dissertation "Analysis of the causes of changes in the economic results of quarries" deals with the search for key factors that influence the result of quarry operations.
