Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with a very complicated business process as valuation of the companies. The aim of the work is to determine the value of the company POL-AGRO TRADING ZT by using two-phase method DCF–entity. The reason for the valuation is to find the information needed for better decisions of the company management on the future business activities. The thesis is systematically divided into five chapters, where the first and fifth are the introduction and the conclusion. The second chapter deals with a theoretical explanation of the basic concepts that‘s needed to known before the valuation process begins. The third chapter is providing a strategic analysis, it consists of an internal and external potential analysis and a financial analysis that precisely follow the financial health of the company. A detailed compilation of the financial plan, the subsequent determination of capital costs and free cash flows is contained in chapter four. The same chapter also quantifies the final market value of the company.
