Abstract

The aim of the thesis is the selection of the optimum grounding insurance product for a particular subject with the help of the multi-criteria evaluation methods. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first one focuses on the insurance terminology and insurance classification, and it also includes a characteristic of the methods of multi-criteria analysis. The second part is devoted to the description of insurance market in the Czech Republic, the selected insurance companies, and the grounding insurance products provided by them. In the third chapter, the methods of multi-criteria analysis are gradually applied, and the optimal insurance product for the particular subject is selected.
