Využití Open Source GIS nástrojů ve výuce zeměpisu na střední škole

Abstract

Práce se snaží doporučit nejvhodnější Open Source program pro studenty zeměpisu na střední škole. Vyučujícím byly vybrány pro posouzení programy QGIS, uDIG, GRASS. V první části této práce jsme se seznámili s vybranými programy. Kritéria, podle kterých byly programy sledovány (testovány) jsou uvedeny v druhé části. Třetí část práce se zaměřuje na popis WMS služby a obecné zásady tvorby tematických map. Další část obsahuje návod zadaných úloh v programových produktech. Na závěr je provedeno zhodnocení a doporučení nejvhodnějšího programu.

The bachelor thesis tries to recommend the most appropriate Open Source programme for students of the geography at the high school. The programs QGIS, iDIG and GRASS have been selected for teachers to asses. In the first part we became acquainted with selected programs. In the second part there are introduced criteria on the grounds of which the programs were tested. The third part focuses on the description of the WMS service and on general principles of the map production. The next part includes the instruction for the specified tasks in the program products. The assessment and the recommendation of the most suitable program are at the conclusion.
