Optimalizace vybraných procesů ve společnosti Technické služby Havířov a.s.

Abstract

The Bachelor’s thesis is focused on the optimisation of selected processes in the Funeral Service and Cemetery Administration business unit of the company Technické služby Havířov a.s.. The aim of the work is to analyse and shorten the continuous processing time of the Receipt of Order and Realisation of Order and thus to effect a reduction in costs. Both processes are described by a process map, quantified by a flowchart, and analysed by application of a cause and effect diagram. After identifying the root causes of the problems, the optimal solution is found, using an intuitive brainstorming discussion. The improvements proposed are implemented and thereafter both processes are re-assessed by means of the flowchart. The final step of optimisation is a proposal to standardise the Order Acceptance process with a third-level corporate QMS document. The savings estimated reach such an amount that the reimbursement period for the investments required to implement the two optimised processes in practice is less than one year.
