This work describes the basics of RFID technology. Thus, the principle of operation and basic description of the technology of RFID transponders with its properties. Some space is devoted to the standard. That is the historical development, current standards and trend development. The main part of the work aims at security information on the RFID tag. Here are presented different methods of protection against unauthorized reading and writing. Describes the correct read and write. Here are presented various security techniques as well as stream and block cipher or a hash. As an example of the type shown real threat in the form of breaking access keys Mifare Classic cards. End of the work is devoted to complementary solutions that protect contactless cards.
