Zhodnocení vývoje rentability a zadluženosti vybraného podniku

Abstract

Many firms use financial analysis. It's purpose is in evaluation of firm's financial health. Financial analysis reveals strong sides, but also weak sides too. Objective of this bachelor thesis is profitability and leverage evolution analysis of a selected company. For purpose of this thesis was used ratio analysis, vertical and horizontal analysis, pyramid of ratios and variance analysis. Firm's profitability is high, but in the last defined year return on cost and return on sales have dropped, because firm sold assets with loss. Return on capital employed has dropped too, the cause was the creation of income tax reserves. Leverage percentage is quite high, but leverage was decreasing until 2020. Subsequent increase was due to new loans. Leverage consists especially of short-term interest-free leverage. Financial managers are using conservative approach.
