Abstract
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine whether the accident with the release of a mixture of water to the overall effect can be modeled as the sum of contributions of individual components.
The theoretical part explains the basic concepts, analysis of serious accidents on the waters with regard to toxicity testing methods and an overview of the toxicity to aquatic organisms.
The experimental part describes the selected substances, which could cause a potential accident in the Moravian and Silesian Region and are tested on two typical methods of ČSN EN ISO 8692 for eyelashes Desmodesmus subspicatus and ČSN EN ISO 6341 for organism Daphnia magna. The evaluation was found and verified that the total toxic effect can´t be evaluated as a sum of contributions of individual substances, but have to approach individually for each substance.
