Abstract
This thesis statistically evaluates and analyzes the data of the defects of seamless pipes in the ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Ostrava (AMTPO) before (2012 and 2013) and after (year 2014)the modernisation of continuous casting in the steel plant of ArcelorMittal Ostrava (AMO). It deals with the statistical analysis of the defects of the diameter 159,0;168,3;273,0 internal materials T01 and T32. It also deals with analysis of defects in diameter 7 "and 95/8" internal materials T52 and T73. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is focused on the technological description. . The second is the theoretical part, where the theory of testing statistical hypotheses is described. The third chapter is a brief introduction of the company ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Ostrava a.s. Due to the sensitivity of data are next two chapters contained in the Technical Report of the Master Thesis. Statistical evaluation of the modernization of production and achieved results and proposals for action. In conclusion of the thesis is done brief summary of lessons learned and propose further procedures.
