Abstract
This thesis deals with stainless steels. At the beginning types of stainless steels, their characteristic, properties and possibilities of usage are presented. The thesis also describes production of stainless steels in conditions of foundry and decarburization of steel. The next part is focused on production of stainless steel castings in the foundry.
