Abstract

The theme of my thesis is the use of optical methods in the treatment of waste. The introduction explain the use of optical methods, their advantages and benefits in the treatment of waste. The thesis explains the gist of optical methods of separation. Next establishes the European Directives for production facilities and devides optical sorters into two groups. Characterizes one type of optical sorters in details. The last part describes the use of optical sorters in the treatment of different types of waste.
