Problematika domácího násilí

Abstract

The submitted work deals with problems of domestic violence and suggests several possibilities how to prevent and solve situations arisen from violence that take place in private and that are usually hidden for very long time. The first part familiarizes us generally with the term of domestic violence; it describes its forms, causes and further characteristics. In the next part you can find legal regulations that are valid in the Czech Republic at present. These regulations apply to problems of the domestic violence. In further part, statistical data regarding domestic violence are processed and there is also an analysis of data connected with application of the law against domestic violence. Further part includes a description of practical function of legal protection on the territory of the Czech Republic. This description is focused on 3 elementary support points of the law on protection against domestic violence. In conclusion, there are suggestions for several measures that are determined for domestic violence fighting and that can contribute to improvement of the prevention in this area and that can lead to more effective help for endangered persons.
