Možnosti využitia bezpilotných prostriedkov na účely mapovania haldy Heřmanice

Abstract

This thesis explores the use of unmanned aerial vehicles for mapping the Heřmanice spoil heap. The aim was to create a 3D model using aerial imaging and analyze the accuracy of the results. Data were processed in PIX4Dmapper software, with a focus on evaluating the quality of orthomosaics, digital terrain models, and point clouds. The results demonstrated that UAVs are an effective tool for mapping hard-to-reach areas. Despite the absence of ground control points, the model was sufficiently accurate for basic analyses. Thermal imaging identified temperature anomalies, which can be useful for environmental monitoring
