Abstract
The theses deal with fire alarm systems and their usage in the premises of ArcelorMittal Ostrava. In the first partof the thesis describes the fire alarm system and its basic elements in connection with the use of ArcelorMittal Ostrava. The next part provides basic information about ArcelorMittal Ostrava and discuss the results of its own investigation focused on the evalution of the current state of the use of the installation of fire alarm system in ArcelorMittal Ostrava. Assessment of the current situation is also accompanied by a proposal for the possible direction of future development.
