Abstract
The bachalor work inquires into hygienic problems of the water in the indoor swimming pools. This subject interested me as swimming is one of the most favourite sport
activities which is able to be done during whole the year by people of any age and therefore
it's important that water in the swimming pools would be suitable from the point of view of
indicators of water quality.
I fixed my attention on view and drawing a comparison of two different types of the water treatment as regards the desinfection and its effect in the swimming pool water. An
assessment of the observed indicators as a result of desinfection in two swimming pools was a basic task. It was about treatment by chlorination and by chlorination together ozonenation. I analysed chemical indicators measured directly on the spot and in the laboratory; the
laboratory values of microbiology were another group of the indicators. I did 42 offtakes and
I took 139 samples in the course of them in the years 2011 till 2012. My hypothesis proceeded
from the assumption that chlorination of the swimming pool water wasn't so effective as
chlorination together ozonenation as it is presented by microbiologist indicators.
There are relatively enough factors which can affect quality of the swimming pool water and that's why it might take a responsible approach to the process of desinfection.
Insufficient treatment of the water ( e.g. not much of the desinfectant agens ) or high dosage
of the chemicals in the swimming pool water is able to result in the health difficulties or even
in the unpleasant illnesses. Human factor is one of the most important for all possible types of
technology of the treatment of the swimming pool water, variety of the chemicals and the technical equipment for monitoring.
