Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on employee recruitment and selection process in the Bucyrus Czech Republic, a.s. company. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part deals with theoretical knowledge in the process of recruitment and selection. This chapter refers to sources candidates, ways of addressing them and the most common selection methods. The second part describes the company and analyses the proces of recruitment and selection. The analysis is based primarily on the findings of interviews with a personnel officer and a survey among current employees. The final part contains recommendations that could improve the current process of recruitment and selection.
