Aplikace informačního modelu budovy v životním cyklu stavby

Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to introduce BIM from a teoretical wiew and apply gained experiences, principles and tools to life cycle of buildings. Operating phase was chosen due to drawing of highest funds. Theoretical part of thesis summarizes a history of building information modeling, explains it’s nature, elaborates aspects of implementation, obstacles, which has to be overcome, and the benefits gained from the succesfull adoption of BIM. It also discusses the benefits for the individual professions. The practical part describes the process of creating an information model of a room in Science and Technology Center Ostrava building. The room is used for temporary exhibitions.
