Abstract

This thesis evaluates influence of granulometric composition aluminium-silicate raw materials on the mechanical and physical properties of refractory materials. Thesis is devided into 3 main chapters and theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes main areas of thesis and typical properties of refractory materials. It provides iformations about general granulometry, which can be applied to ceramic shape dimensions. The second part describes process of screen analysing and the last part explains determination methodology of grain curve in ceramic materials. These findings are evaluated in final practical experimental, which shows the extent to which suitable composition affects utility properties of refractory materials in phase diagram SiO2-Al2O3.
