Centrum lokální komunity, Uherský Ostroh, Udržitelné město

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with creation of a new city center of Uherský Ostroh with a culturally social object. By analyzing of urbanism and local communities centers a new city center has been selected. This center is anchored and stabilized by four basic and two auxiliary points, whitch are defining the space of the new city center. Anchoring points make up the main compositional axis of Uhersky Ostroh and suitably complement them. The selected location is placed in the middle of the city, on its main traffic arteries. In the space of today's store is a cultural house designed, which together with the square and the town hall forms one of the limits of the new city center. The localization of the object and its form is influenced by the region of Slovácko and its rural structure, which is reflected mainly in the look of the house. The new building is one of the symbolic points which is creating a new city center of Uherský Ostroh.
