Možnosti využití kalů z biologického čištění průmyslových odpadních vod

Abstract

This thesis devoted with utilization of sewage sludge, originating in pharmaceutical industry, namely combustion and anaerobic digestion. In theoretical part, there are biological active compounds used in pharmaceutical industry described, particularly the alkaloids. Next chapter occupies with waste water from pharmaceutical industry and methods of pollutant removing. Next part is engaged in sewage sludge and sludge treatment – composting, energy utilization. In this respect there are mainly anaerobic digestion and incineration described. Experimental part is focused on research of suitability of using of mixture of sludge and plant remains of Silybum marianum for incineration and methane utilization rate from anaerobic digestion.
