Abstract

This thesis deals with an experimental findings of the breakdown of the strength of the air. The theoretical section provides basic definitions relating to this issue. The practical part was focused on the experimental assessment of the size of the piercing tension, piercing strength of the air on the copper electrodes in constant distance of (7 mm) in different temperatures and relative moisture of air that has been achieved in climatic chamber. In practical part is summarizes the results of individual measurements.
