Hodnocení výdajů veřejné správy v České republice a ve vybraných zemích Evropské unie

Abstract

The master’s thesis deals with the evaluation of public administration expenditures in the Czech Republic and selected countries of the European Union. Its main objective is to assess the structure and development of these expenditures. The thesis focuses on the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary, which form the Visegrad Group, as well as on Germany and Austria, which represent more economically advanced European Union countries. The theoretical part defines public administration in the Czech Republic and the European Union and describes public administration systems in the selected countries. The practical part evaluates public administration expenditures using selected indicators and basic methods of descriptive statistics. In the conclusion, the research questions are verified and recommendations are formulated. The analysis focuses on the period 2014–2023.
