Abstract
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the analysis of road safety at the intersection of Úvoz-Tvrdého-Gorazdova in Brno and the suitability of the current arrangement. Technical analyses, traffic surveys, accident studies, and capacity evaluations were conducted. The purpose of the modification is to increase traffic safety. Two modification options were proposed, focusing on changes in the signal plan - cycle length and phase scheme. The more suitable option of signal modification was selected for evaluation. In the final part of the thesis, simulation models of the proposed intersection variants were created in the PTV VISSIM software.
