Abstract

This work deals with the effect of long-term relationships with suppliers on the quality of supplies. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts related to this topic and describes the relationships with suppliers, their selection and methods of selection, evaluation, motivation and communication with them. At the same time, the theoretical part shows why it is important to build long-term relationships, to base on them and what benefits it brings. The practical part deals with a specific case in the described company, which wished to remain anonymous. The data provided, relating to the evaluation of suppliers, are verified in various ways and the impact of long-term relationships on the quality of supplies is evaluated.
