Zefektivnění výrobkového portfolia kontijemné tratě

Abstract

Diploma graduation thesis comprises product portfolio analysis of Continuous light-section mill of TRINECKE ZELEZARNY, a.s. It is worked out in the conditions of TZ-MS Group (TRINECKE ZELEZARNY-MORAVIA STEEL) for SBQ (Special Bar Quality) bars produced on this particular rolling mill. In the introductory chapters the production flow within TRINECKE ZELEZARNY is described as well as the Light section mill in detail and it´s part within TZ is introduced. The analysis of competition is followed by description and split of individual production groups which are subject of classification later on. 7 different production groups are classified with the help of BCG and GE matrix. Each matrix evaluation is concluded by findings and recommendations and strategy for each subject is proposed. In the conclusion part the view is extended by product split as per final application branches, typical customer´s requirements are introduced and main problematic areas are defined. Final conclusion consists of 3 parts – findings of product portfolio analysis (findings of BCG and GE matrix are compared), conclucions from production and technology part and part of sales and logistics.
