Ochranné protikorozní kovové povlaky pro vybrané magnetické materiály na bázi Nd-Fe-B

Abstract

This dissertation is focused on the issue of anti-corrosion metal coatings for selected magnetic materials based on Nd-Fe-B. The theoretical part discusses characteristics and properties of the permanent magnets, as well as basic types of corrosion resistant coatings including the methods of their application and the methodology for the examination of their utility properties. The tests in the climatic chamber are done in the experimental part and the results are evaluated via gravimetric and metallographic method. The goal is to determine the suitability of the coatings used, to highlight possible shortcomings of the entire process from plating to the degradation of materials themselves and draw up the most suitable type of coating or corrective measures.
