The diploma thesis is based on urban analysis of the city of Malacky. The structure of the city centre suffered from the construction of the motorway connection in the last century. At present, the city centre is heavily loaded with traffic. The results of the analyses are a concept of the transport solution that takes into account planned bypass of the city and also concept of completing the city structure. The aim of the thesis is to clearly define the entrance to the city centre, calm the traffic, prioritize pedestrians and connect the existing Klášterní náměstí with public space of the cultural centre and the Mírové náměstí. The space of the Mírové náměstí and the adjacent parcel are designed in more detail by an architectural study. The study reflects current needs of housing in the town of Malacky and former function of the designed place. The result is addition of an apartment building with a commercial street level.
