Abstract

This diploma thesis is introducing to topic of emotional states and human speech as one of physiological utterance. This topic also introducing reader to creating of database of emotional samples in form of short sound records and mainly creation of tool which is helping in evaluation of created database using subjective method. First part of thesis is dedicated to emotional states, mainly describing every type of emotion. This part also discusses about physiological utterances linked with emotional experiencing. Considering that the goal of this thesis is creation of sound sample database so this part is dedicated to human speech because it is one of physiological utterances. It is dealing not only with voice creation but also with speech variants and it´s features. Second part discusses about creation of already mentioned database of sound samples respectively what goals database has to be met and what features sound records have to have. Third part I am dedicating to creation of tool for subjective evaluation of emotional sample database which I created. In last part of the thesis I am evaluating achieved results of sample evaluation of emotional database and also reducing number of database samples on basis of analyse of individual sample credibility. Conclusion is dedicated to review of the whole thesis a it´s asset respectively opportunities of further continuation in this topic.
